The Good:
Easily backup currently used drivers, original windows device drivers as well as disconnected device drivers and transfer to other computers. Backup to an auto installer for easy re-installation.
Driver genius maintains an uninterrupted driver download even if your local network fails using a multi threaded and resumable downloading technology.
Driver Genius’ device diagnostic tool is pretty accurate at locating faulty devices.
Auto installer makes it easy to restore backed up drivers.
Driver Genius supports Windows 98/98SE, ME, 2000, XP/XPx64, Server 2003/2003x64, Vista, Windows 7, Server 2008/2008x64.
The Bad:
Tends to recommend more of generic(alternative) drivers than manufacturer specific device drivers. If you are concerned about getting drivers for your specific make and model of pc e.g. Compaq or Dell, try Drivercure or Driver detective.
Verdict:
The best choice if you are interested in backing up all your systems installed device drivers for future re-installation. Not as effective as Drivercure and Driver Detective when it comes to recommending driver software for manufacturer specific device drivers.
